I am an addiction advocate.Having been in recovery myself for over five years, I have chosen to attend college to earn a degree in Addiction Counseling to help people who are involved with medication assisted addiction treatment. If anyone would like to know more or share ,please feel free. I would love to hear from you.

I can piggyback on your offer. I work with people with anorexia, bulimia and EDNOS. I assist them and their loved ones in addition to clinicians and students as a support group facilitator, educator, resource specialist and a prevention advocate. I also have an online support group through Facebook. Feel free to let me know if I can be of assistance.

I am so happy to see you express your passion. I am the Executive Director of a non profit devoted to drug prevention. Of course, as part of prevention we support recovery 110%. In fact this September we are organizing a community festival devoted to honoring those in recovery from addiction and encouraging support from the entire community. I truly believe we all are one tragic event away from our own self destruction be it with drugs or other coping mechanisms. It is up to us to support each other. Congrats on your success.
